Blue Wash

Blue Wash evolved from an opportunity to design anything the artist desired. The client for this particular piece did not have a predetermined idea as to how it should look.

This artwork eventuated after a day spent at the beach. The shapes pertain to a sense of movement, mimicking the fluid mannerisms of the water. The different shades of blue used are intended to represent the appearance of water at different depths. A defined white shape dominates the background blues, echoing the end storyline of all the waves that crash and foam onto the beach.
